Swift Therapy

What is Swift Treatment?

Swift is a great treatment option, arguably one of the best in the arsenal against verrucae currently.
The Swift treatment uses a probe to direct microwave energy through and directly to the verruca tissue. It uses the microwave energy to destroy the verruca tissue, promoting your body’s immune response to clear the infection. It is highly effective and is a great option when there are multiple lesions as multiple verrucas can be treated in a single session.
The standard approach is a 4 second treatment of the energy, this causes a burning sensation that is tolerated by most but shouldn’t be underestimated. Despite the pain, the Swift is by far the most popular choice by patients and approved by insurances to be an effective treatment.
